Choosing a childcare provider for your family is among the biggest decisions you'll make as a parent. Knowing the depth of experience and relationships I've developed with other families throughout the years will definitely help with concerns you may have. I started providing childcare after our first daughter was born in 2008 and have provided care for another ten kids and eight families over the course of being at home with my own children. I have first aid training, a driver's license abstract and a police vulnerable sector record check available. I really cannot rave enough of Jeff and the childcare he has provided to my children over the last 3 years. His model of childcare, that is filled with warmth and love, is one that we will truly cherish - as will our child. The adventures, the fun and the absolute joy that our child had is something that I know has shaped them into the little kind human they are today. Our child was constantly engaged and given an amazing worldview - as an educator in the OCT, and holding my M.Ed, the different modalities of teaching and learning that Jeff provided were truly spectacular. There were so many real world experiences that were provided for our child, that I was sad sometimes that I didn't get to go on the outings! Jeff was responsive, kind, and above all he and his family has become a second family for our children. Now that our children are school-aged, we aren't leaving just yet; we know that Jeff is still available to help us when he can and we can rely on him when arranged. With actual family that doesn't live that close, having Jeff and his family open to help is absolutely amazing. His type of care is above and beyond and if you are looking for childcare that is truly in the sense of "it takes a village to raise a child" this is the childcare you are looking for. I still remember the first time we met Jeff. We were sitting on the floor with the kids and my infant crawled right into Jeff's lap and sat there all content. That sealed the deal for us. Both girls enjoyed so many adventures with Jeff - inside and outside. They went on a HUGE variety of outings, cooked, baked, decorated, crafted, painted, etc... I continue to brag to my friends about having the best manny! Jeff adapted to their ever changing needs, moods, schedules and appetites. He gave them the extra love, cuddles and care they wouldn't have gotten in a larger group environment. He was firm and strict when necessary, fun, energetic, and full of cheer all the time. He pays attention to reinforcing good manners and habits while giving the kids freedom to be kids. We actually delayed putting our older daughter in school (skipped JK) so she could continue having amazing adventures. We are still in awe about how incredible the experience was and love that our girls ask to hang out with him and his family many years later. We all LOVE Jeff and still trust him with our kids!

Jeff provides an outstanding experience for the children in his care. He regularly takes them on local and even regional outings to playgrounds, the zoo, pools, farms and many other activities. He has such a positive energy about him, and was always eager to get out and take them on adventures and explore new places in our own neighbourhood and often beyond while also adapting to their needs if they required a quiet day of calm and crafts at home.
